Communication at Eye Level
Are you ready to learn more about communicating with your customer at eye level?
In the field of eye care, good communication is crucial – both for you to gain the information you need, and for the customer to understand the information they receive.
In this session, Karen Ingerslev will update you on why communication is vital for you as an eye care professional. Through real-life cases, you’ll see examples of when communication becomes difficult – and when it succeeds. You’ll also learn hands-on strategies to handle communication situations that require something extra.
Join us as we delve into practical methods and real-life examples that demonstrate why it’s important for you to master communication skills.
Enhance your knowledge of how sight develops from birth to childhood and teenage years.
Join this session to gain insights into the current landscape in Denmark regarding children’s use of glasses and/or contact lenses. Refresh your knowledge of when to look for eye health issues in children below the age of 16, and gain hands-on tips for conducting sight tests on children.

Myopia Management Options
Join this session to get insights into different options for myopia management. Three speakers will talk about the pros and cons of different treatment methods: glasses, contact lenses and eye drops.
The short presentations will be followed by a panel discussion, where you can ask questions to the three panellists.
Join us for this 45-minute rapid-fire session, where you’ll gain insights from three recent research studies and publications based on Louis Nielsen Eye Health and refractive data.
1. Marie Kofoed: How can we use nerve fibre analysis from OCT in our daily clinical work as an optometrist.
2. Yousif Subhi: Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) in Denmark – Prevalence, Signs and Symptoms, Handling in the Optical Store and implications on recommed optical solutions.
Screen time and digital health are hot topics – also in eye care, where this topic often arises in relation to myopia management.
In this session, Imran Rashid explores the matter from a health and behavioural perspective. You’ll gain insights and practical knowledge to help you guide patient conversations and reflect on digital habits.
