Marie Kofoed is an optometrist who earned her BSc in Optometry from Copenhagen Business Academy in 2018 and completed her MSc in Optometry in 2025.

She began her career in optics at Synoptik in 2014, before taking on a dual role as a Special Contact Lens Optometrist at Privatsyn and a Professional Affairs Consultant at Johnson & Johnson. Since 2024, Marie has been with VisionCare, providing clinical guidance on the fitting of specialty contact lenses.
