Optometrist
Elin Carlsson has been a dedicated employee at Specsavers since graduating as an optician from Linné University in Kalmar in 2006. Starting in Skövde, she later transferred to Lidköping where she remains a valued team member. In 2024, she completed her studies in Diagnostic Optometry at Karolinska Institutet.
In her daily work, Elin performs comprehensive eye examinations, ocular health assessments, contact lens fittings, cycloplegic refractions, and provides support to patients experiencing visual motion hypersensitivity.
When Specsavers introduced OCT and visual field machines across its Swedish stores, Elin was one of the supervisors during the Go Live phase, playing an important role in supporting staff with OCT imaging, visual field testing, and interpretation of clinical findings.
